Bio.

Feltinelli is my Registered Trade Name I made up combining Felt and Nelli.


Here is my short Bio.
Nelly Kouzmina is a Fiber Artist working with natural fibers and dyes creating variety of pieces from wall art to wearable and accessories, exploring broad possibilities of felt making. Her work is original, one of a kind, inspired by nature.
She started working with fibers in 2012, and developed her own style and techniques creating unique hand made textile - felt. 
Nelly participates in various juried art shows in New York City, New Jersey, Pennsylvania.
Her work was selected for the show “Fashion. Fabric. Fibers”, New Hope Arts Council, February 2016, Fashion Show at National Textile Show in Oaks, PA, September 2016, and latest "Fashion. Fabric. Fibers", New Hope, in May of 2017
Her collections are sold at the Trenton State Museum store, Trenton City Museum Boutique, East 28 Gallery, Burllington, NJ, Red Tulip Gallery, PA, Touchstone Art Gallery, Yardley, PA, and Gallery 23, Blairstown, NJ.
She is invited to participate in pop-up art galleries supporting Home Front called ArtJam 2016, 2017, and WoW Gallery, 2016, 2017, Princeton, NJ.
In July of 2015 Nelly had her first solo exhibit at the Plainsboro Public Library Art Gallery, NJ.
In June of 2017 she has her second personal exhibit there.

Best in Fiber Art - Trenton City Museum at Ellaslie Open XXXI, May, 2014, 
1st Place/ Fine Arts & Crafts - Highland Park Art Show, NJ, 2014, 
Honorable Mention at Ellarslie Open XXXIV,May 2017.
Best in Show, 1st Place - New Hope Arts & Crafts Festival, September 2014, 2nd place 2015, 1st place 2016.
In 2017 she received Award - Artist of the Year at Plainsboro Library, Middlesex County, NJ

Nelly taught and continues teaching workshops and classes at Plainsboro Township, Lawrenceville, Artists of Yardley, PA, West Windsor Arts Center, Trenton City Museum, ArtWorks Trenton, Grounds for Sculpture.
